Turkish Adventures

During the summer this year, I went on my first holiday with my boyfriend to the Turkish coast, Fethiye. We only stayed for a week and we did lots of exploring of the beautiful surrounding islands, as well as having plenty of night time cocktails in the beach bars. We stayed in a cute little hotel that wasn't to far from the local village and had a wide view of the beach from the onsite pool.

On our second day, we decided to go on a boat trip around 12 of Fethiye's islands. during our boat trip, we got to see dolphins, tropical butterfly waterfalls and some Turkish ruins. The boat trip was super fun and it was so beautiful swimming in the crystal blue sea. We also got to try some Turkish food and drink, we had smoked fish, spiced rice and mixed salad. Turkey has such beautiful islands and scenery and our boat trip was the perfect was to enjoy the views.

The third day of our trip was very exciting as we went to a water park, located on the out skirts of the island. We took a taxi through the mountains, we were lucky enough to see the perfect view of the beach from the top of one of the mountains. It was so nice to relax in the watermark and to enjoy at the atmosphere. Through out the day we laid on sun lounges to top up our tans, relaxed in the lazy river and tried out all the water slides.

We explored so much on holiday and we got to try so many new experiences, from food to activities. I never I would have the courage to jump off the side of a 10 foot boat into the sea or eat BBQ'ed squid. I had such a brilliant holiday, and I made lots of memories and I can't for more adventures.
