June Favourites

Now that we've gone through the month of June, we can say it is officially summer! as well as holiday and festival season. I have been using my time this month to dedicate more work to my blog and prepare some content ready for the next months. I've tried so hard to find things to review and talk about and some things are brand new products so look out for those posts over the summer. I have also switched up my usual style and started writing haul posts from some luxury and drugstore brand , so be sure to watch out for those. So here are my top favourites from June...
Beauty
a beauty product that I discovered this month is the Revolution Cosmetics Vivid Baked Highlighter in the shade Light Pink. The lovely guys over at Revolution sent me a package filled with goodies which included the new highlighter. At first I was a little stumped at how much it looked like a...lady garden...if you catch my reference. I can't lie it did make me laugh when I first looked at it. But this highlighter is one to be taken seriously, it's amazing. The brightness of this highlighter had me shook and at only £3 it's a bargain.

Skincare
This month I discovered a brand new skincare product from L'Oreal Paris; the 72 hour hydration moisturiser. Whilst I was grabbing a few bits and bobs from Boots I noticed that they were promoting a brand new line of skincare from L'Oreal. I am a huge fan of L'Oreal's skin care range as well as their beauty products and it was the sea blue bottle that caught my eye. I usually prefer a cream moisturiser as I have a combination skin type but I was so drawn in by the bottle of the L'Oreal hydration formula that I thought I'd mix it up this month. The hydration moisturiser is between a cream and an oil, it's a strange formula but I do really like it. I wouldn't say that it is super hydrating but it leaves skin feeling so soft and smooth after. I think it is perfect to use as a primer before using foundation and it is relatively cheap as well. So be sure to have a look for it next time you're in Boots.

Netflix Series
A Netflix series that I have been watching throughout June is How I Met Your Mother. I have seen the show before many years ago and its one of my all time favourites, I just couldn't help but re-watch them all. The show is so funny and such a classic that I think anyone can watch it especially if you enjoy shows like Friends. When I watched it before I didn't watch them in order so this time I understood the story a lot better. All seasons are on Netflix so you won't miss out on any episodes. So I recommend watching this show.
