January Favourites

Since a new year has started, I thought it's time to start a new topic on my channel and I've decided to start a monthly favourites series. This is something that I am super excited about. I love watching YouTubers do monthly favourites, and since I try to look for new products each month I thought I would share them on my blog. Not only do I love new products but I will also include topics like: music, TV shows/films, home ware and foody bits. So here are my January favourites.

Beauty and Skincare
First of all, id like to share with you some of the skincare and beauty products that I have been loving this month. Ill start with skincare, something that I really recommend for anyone with dry skin is the Bobbi Brown hydrating moisture balm. I started using it at the beginning off December and throughout the month my skin has felt super soft and hydrated and has enriched a natural radiance in my skin. It can be a little pricey as a regular size tube is £45 but there are travel sized versions for £12 and the smaller version has lasted me everyday through this month and I still have plenty left. I will say that the way I found best to apply it was with the flat end of a Real Techniques beauty blender as it glided on my skin without adding extra oil from my fingers.

A beauty product that I have been living for this month is the Tarte, Tartelette palette. I was given this for christmas by my mum as she brought it back from America for me. This palette is one of the best available on the market, I adore the colour scheme and it is perfect for both a glam or natural look. The palette has a wide variety of both matte shades and shimmers and it also includes a large compact mirror within the palette. Tarte is hard to come across in the UK but you can order it from the states, just be prepared for a customs charge as they can be pricey. I think my favourite thing about this palette is the packaging, its so pretty and it is defiantly a high quality product. I will also mention the fact that he shades are made with amazonian clay, and they are scented with cocoa.
Deluxe Gift Hampers
So now that Christmas has passed, lots of high-street stores are selling beauty deluxe hampers half price. 2 hampers in particular that I think are great value for money are the; Ted Baker Treasure Chest and Zoella Christmas Hamper.

I was given the Ted Baker Treasure Chest for Christmas by my boyfriend, he knew how much I wanted one and it was an amazing gift to receive. The chest is full of Ted Baker pamper products, from flavoured lip balms to body wash. I absolutely adore Ted Baker packaging, it's very chic and the colour schemes are usually rose gold and baby pink for the women's collection. Since I was given this as a christmas gift, I have done a quick search to see what the current price is and at Boots it's on offer for £25 from the original £50. This hamper is defiantly worth £25 so I would encourage everyone to check it out.

I treated myself and brought the Zoella Christmas Hamper in the Superdrug boxing-day sale as it was reduced to such a low price and I could resist not buying it. It is a beauty white wicker gift basket that is full of the Zoella beauty christmas products, from bath salts to hand cream and it is all ginger bread scented. Im not huge fan of the ginger bread scent but It did make me feel super christmasy. The hamper first went on sale for £50 in Superdrug, but for one week only it was reduced to £25. Post christmas the hamper was further reduced to £18, an absolute bargain.
