February Favourites

It feels as if this year is just flying by so fast and I'm already writing another monthly favourite. This month has been crazy from me buying a new car, Valentines day and all of the dramatic weather its been hard to keep up with everything. So I thought Id sit down and write about a few of things that have been my favourites this month.

Beauty and Skincare

Since it is still this winter season, I am trying so hard to keep on top of my skincare routine. The cold weather can be so bad for skin as It can firm facial tissue and leave skin feeling so dry. So I tried out a few different products during February to see if any made a difference to what I used before.

A skin care product that I have fallen in love with this month is the L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay Purity Mask. I was given this mask as a christmas gift from my mum as she had used it in the previous months and said how amazing it is. It can be brought from most high street drugs stores, however I know that Boots is currently selling it on offer at £5.99 from £7.99. This mask is incredible, it is by far the best face mask I have ever used. It is so easy to apply as well as fast drying, it feels comfortable enough to leave on whilst lounging around and leaves my skin feeling so refreshed after. My skins always feels lifted and tightened after using it, I highly recommend it.

A beauty product that I have been living for this month is the Jeffree Star Skin Frost highlighter in the shade Ice Cold. I was so impressed with his liquid lipsticks that I thought I would try out one of his highlighters from the Skin Frost collection. Im really happy with this product, it gives my cheeks a beautiful bright glow and it lasts all day. The highlighter has a fair amount of product for the price as it is packaged in a large compact pan complete with mirror. The skin frost collection can be brought from his website however it will be shipped from America if you live in the UK. They retail at $24 so they are an investment but I think its totally worth it. If you are from the UK, then you can buy them from Beauty Bay for £25 and it wont cost you any import tax.

Netflix Series

So I know that I am a little bit late to the party with this one but this month I have been obsessed with Stranger Things. I know that Stranger Things was a bigger deal last year when It first came onto Netflix, but I never bothered to watch it. I decided to start watching a new series on Netflix after finishing watching Fresh Meat, so I binge watched all of Stranger Things and I absolutely loved it. Every episode just makes me want to watch the next immediately, its so unpredictable and I would suggest anybody to watch it. I can't wait for season 2 to be released, which is on Halloween this year.
