April Favourites

We are finally into April and the months seem to be flying by but I found the time to sit and list some of my favourite items from the month of April. Also I don't have a new skincare product this month as I haven't really been using one so instead I have added an extra beauty product. Enjoy!

Beauty

A beauty product that I having been using throughout April is the #ProArtist Professional London HD PRO Finish Powder Translucent. ProArtist cosmetics is an amazing brand that is owned by TAM beauty, the same people who created and own Revolution cosmetics. This powder is great for mixing into foundation to give your skin a matte flawless finish and helps keep your skin looking set throughout the day whilst reducing oil. I discovered this powder about a year ago and it's been something that I have used in my daily makeup routine ever since.

Another beauty product that I have been loving this month is the Kylie Cosmetics Kylighters. I ordered mine when the second restock was released and it arrived 2 weeks later. I have seen so many bloggers and YouTubers giving the Kylighters bad reviews and stating that the pigment is poor and the glow is sheer. I would say that the Kylighters are a little sheer and they aren't as full impact compared to say the Anastasia Beverly Hills highlighters. BUT, they're easy to work with and can be adapted into how you want it to look. For example I used fix plus spray on a Morphe M510 brush then used it to highlight. The wetness on the brush picks up way more product and sits better on top of foundation. I personally like the Kylighters but they do take longer to use.

My Dressing Table

So this month I brought a dressing table for my bedroom, it's from Dunelm Mill if anyone wanted to know. I am extremely proud of the fact that I put it together myself despite how long my efforts took. It has made my life so much easier as I can now sit properly with a decent sized mirror and get ready in one spot, as before I would sit on the floor and it wasn't to most comfiest. My dressing table has made my room feel much more eligant and I absolutly adore it.

Netflix Series

An amazing series that I have recently watched on Netflix this month is 13 Reasons Why. It is quite similar to the fault in our stars in the sense of style but it has a totally different theme and story. If you like american teenage dramas then I suggest you check it out. There are so many meanings to what to program is about and it highlights the idea that you never really realize what someone is going through or how your words and actions can affect them. It strongly demonstrates how bullying can push people to their limits and how people can be forced into bad situations. But its an amazing series and definitely something you can binge watch.
