Meeting Jeffree Star and Manny MUA

On the 22nd of April I was lucky enough to attend the Beauty Bay JSC X MUA event in London. I had been trying for 2 weeks to get tickets as they sold out almost straight away, even though the event was free many people tried to get the tickets and sell on to make a profit. But after many hours of looking for people with spare tickets and messaging so many people I finally found a girl who was willing to give me hers for free as she couldn't make it to the event. I have genuinely had never been so excited in my life.

The meet up was held at Kachette in London and there was a pop up store inside hosted by Beauty Bay were you could buy everything from the Jeffree Star Cosmetics brand including the JSC X MUA collaboration bundle. I was so excited to get my hands on the bundle it was on sale at the BB event for £55 and it included 1 Eclipse Skin Frost, 2 velour Liquid Lipsticks (DADDY and IM SHOOK) all in the limited edition packaging.

Inside the venue there was some huge promo art for the collaboration and plenty of pink lighting on glittery walls. Beauty Bay had also arranged a pop up shop that you could visit before meeting both Jeffree and Manny which stocked all JSC merchandise and products. I went a little crazy and brought 3 new Velour Liquid lipsticks in the shades; Gemini, Androgyny and Masochist totaling at £48 (see my Beauty Bay Haul for more about them). I was tempted to buy so much more but all purchases had to be made super quick so I didn't have a chance to have a look at the other products. All purchases came with a limited edition Beauty Bay shop bag.

When I met Jeffree and Manny they were both so lovely and they were more than happy to have a chat and pose for a photo. I wish a had more time to spend with them as I had so many questions that I wanted to ask but as there was so many other people at the event Jeffree and Manny were on a tight schedule. There has been lots of drama during the UK tour for both of them but I think they handled it all really professionally and did the best they could to please everybody. If I got the opportunity to meet them again I definitely would as it was a really good event and I met some really lovely girls also, so thanks Beauty bay for arranging the event. #BBDareToShare
